Mr Crawfords 80th Birthday

On Wednesday 16th January 2008 Mr Crawford, the chairman of the Board of Governors celebrated his eightieth year.  The children and staff celebrated this significant landmark by presenting him with a pen sketch of the school drawn by L Warwick.  Mr Crawford started Creavery Primary School as a pupil in 1932.  His granddaughter is now a pupil and is the sixth generation of the Crawford family to attend the school. What a fantastic achievement.

Christmas Festivities at Creavery

This year’s Christmas celebration was entitled ‘A very Special Baby’. As always the children in P1-P3 were our actors while the rest of the children performed in the band and choir.

Narrators Timothy, Isabella and Grace retold the story

Sarah as Mary sang beautifully and Noel was Joseph. Lauren sparkled magnificently as the star above the stable.

The P6 and P7 children performed their own play entitled ‘News from Bethlehem’ Daniel interviewed a number of different people about what had happened on the very first Christmas night.
